cheesy but a good reminder to make breakfast for dinner and do yoga in the sculpture garden at night

Pleated Yoke Babydoll Dress
I'm still going through my projects from last semester, and as a result I'm churning out blog posts.
Heres the first dress I ever properly draped!.......
How long the fabric was pre pleating the front yoke. Yikes.
Just pinnin' some pleats.
Ta Da.
Model: my little sis Sophia
Mismatched vintage buttons down center back.
My favorite of the buttons.
Woohoo so much flair!
Menswear Outerwear
Inspiration Board/Fabric Board.
I had to use 'architectural inspiration,' so surprise! I chose a Tee-pee.....its architectural and natural...what more could you want?
gray rib-knit, gray wool, gray suede, brownish wool, olive rib knit, forest suede
khaki waffle knit, tan wool (lined on the other side with shearling), tan leather, mustard suede, orange leather, dark brown corduroy
My really silly presentation.
"Do you know how hard it is to find a picture of a deer standing up?!?!"
Menswear jacket flats......what the proportions would actually look like.

'Crocheted Rock' Blouse and Skirt
Inspiration: This perfect pile of crochet rocks because I used so many different textured white fabrics and braided suede fringe....
Flats/Sketch that I drew 5 min. before class while having an anxiety attack because I hadn't slept in 3 days. WHAT UP CROOKED FLATS........
Every single seam in this ensemble has french seams.
so. many. tears.
20 gored skirt detail.
And now......for a modeling series in my bedroom....
introducing: my little sister Sophia.
The suede fringe unbraided/the result of flash in a dark room.
Thanks Soph for modeling :)

Israel Photo Diary 2012
A few photos I managed to take (before my camera died on day 3) of a marvelous Israel journey. Maybe one day I'll cough up the money for photoshop so I can properly edit; however, I this beautiful country speaks for itself....
Negev Desert
Ein Avdat
Masada
Western Wall
Old City Jerusalem
Peering into the mens side of the Western Wall
Looking down at the topography from Masada
Inside Bedouin Tents
City of David
Arad
Heaven?
Underground at the Western Wall
This reminds me of the story of King Midas....where everything he touches turns to gold....haha
Notes in the Western Wall
Tel Aviv
Thank you Birthright Free Spirit for this experience! It was sababa! :)
