Rainbow Light at the New River Gorge

Last weekend my sister, Sophia, and I went camping and zip-lining at the New River Gorge. After zip-lining all day we hiked to the bottom of the gorge and went for swim. I took a few pictures with my  underwater camera, and ended up liking the above water photos better than the underwater ones!! For some reason the camera made the light/water look all rainbow and mystical :)

Pillow Fight

Last Saturday, April 2nd, was International Pillow Fight Day (more info Here). I attended in NYC for the second year in a row, and naturally had a grand 'ol time.
Neil and I only questionably sane prior to caos.
I saw some cool people,
funny costumes,
and other crazy-ness (heheee).
I wonder who won this battle..Thing 1 vs. Red Power Ranger..
And then there were feathers.
Monkey boy with monkey pillow.
Great faces.
Me content/tired with pillow.
On the way back I saw abandoned pillows in the subway station all the way in Brooklyn...how funny

As always all photos are my own!

To Jane

Last year I had the best birthday celebration! I turned 18, and was woeful for official adulthood. I decided that I wanted to celebrate my birthday the day before as a 'Goodbye 17 Party' oppose to an '18th Bday Party' on my actual birthday.
My friend Jeremy gave me around 60 feet of bubble wrap as a gift (Isn't that the best gift ever??), and so I gathered up some of my favorite people, and passed out jars of face paint. After coloring our  faces my entourage and I went down into the basement of our dorm. We spread bubble wrap down the length of the hallway, and jumped around embracing our inner six-year-old selves. We made so much noise. Sheer happiness.
Since my friend Jane's birthday is tomorrow, and mine is Friday I thought this post would be the perfect trip down memory lane.
Birthday girls. I love you Jane!

Leopard Print Love

Recently I bought this incredible, amazing, sensational, life partner of a leopard print layering piece a few weeks ago at Good Will, and have been dying to post about it.

(Goodwill is a very thrifty place to shop...you are supporting the recycling of clothes and you can find the best one-of-a-kind finds) !!

I'm not sure what to call it..jacket? shawl? bathrobe?..but we are pretty great friends...

Clover Patch

Have you guys seen the new Alexa Chung for Madewell fall collection? If you haven't you can here.

It is really brilliant and wearable and I pretty much want to own every piece.

My point in bringing up this new collection is that Alexa Chung's add campaign is very similar to some photography I had longing on my desktop...

This got me pretty excited because I think it would be cool to do adds like this some day.

Take a look at the add and then look and the photos I took of my beautiful friend, Dylan Anslow, a few months before the collection photos came out.
