Every week or so I go on a fieldtrip in Manhattan to the garment district. My class meets with leather, fur, cotton, pattern, lace, and bridal companys (to name a few), so that we have resources in the city.

Leopard Print Love

Recently I bought this incredible, amazing, sensational, life partner of a leopard print layering piece a few weeks ago at Good Will, and have been dying to post about it.

(Goodwill is a very thrifty place to shop...you are supporting the recycling of clothes and you can find the best one-of-a-kind finds) !!

I'm not sure what to call it..jacket? shawl? bathrobe?..but we are pretty great friends...

Halloween Mood

Summer Picnic

Currently I am missing summer days full of heat and laziness (maybe because Brooklyn is cold and I forgot what it means to sleep...?)

On one of the first days of summer my sisters and I had a picnic on a ledge overlooking the city (Charleston WV). Despite the extreme humidity, it was nice to eat and drink, and look out at the river. This is a small tribute to how much I love picnics.
