I am a Fashion Design student who constantly feels the need to respect and serve the environment. I recently created an ink drawing combining typography with image. I hand wrote out one of my favorite quotes by Lord Byron, and paired it with a very stylized fashion face and string of beads. Its not anything special, but it was pretty fun to draw...I've been really into this pen and ink stuff recently.
I wanted to play with the idea of Nature vs. Fashion, or if you dig deeper: minimalism vs. consumption.This piece displays a contrast that hopefully pushes people to see the culmination of fashion and the environment (my two loves).
Haha I just realized that my blog banner really jives with this post...
I need to change that banner I really hate it... Sigh
